No real surprise here. I asked Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to respond to yesterday’s post about layoffs at the hotel and received this reply from Kersten Rettig:

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has a firm policy of not discussing employmentmatters of any kind. With an upcoming renovation, it made sense to evaluate our business model. As you probably know, the Mansion will undergo a guest room and public room renovation this fall.

So, there you have it. Does that mean they will hire after the renovation? Prolly. But that’s just a guess.

I have a firm policy of not spending money with companies that like to screw the little guy. There are too many other places to eat in Dallas without putting more money in the pockets of these folks.
