I heard from several close sources that The Mansion has laid off several (9?) chefs, some of whom have been there like 25 years. That’s all I know, but there are rumors of more.

I’ve e-mailed for details. John Tesar, where are you? Wassup?

They laid off like 20 or so people…not all from the restaurant but from the hotel as well. Business is way down….of course, seems Tesar can go trapsing around Europe but they don’t have enough money to pay salaries. Whatever…I doubt he is on his own dime by the way.

It is nice that they have enough money to send Tesar to Europe though…bet that could have seen several people’s salaries paid for at least a while. But it’s nice for him I’m sure.
