It’s hard to see, but the sign for the new location of Asian Mint went up today in the Shops of Highland Park. Since I live and work directly across the street I’ve been anxiously waiting for the opening. Looks like any day now…

15 steps? You must have the stride of a Sasquatch.

The other one is steps from my office. Not the biggest fan. If anyone knows something spectacular on the menu that will sway me, please suggest away.

Try the Pad Kee Mow: soft wide noodles with a brief saute of garlic & basil and spiced up choices (beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, etc) with veg. This has been a favorite of my guests when I take them here.
Also the Thai Red Curry which is like a spicy red curry in coconut milk and is served with various choices and assorted veg
– this is sort of like an entree soup and is my personal favorite item on the menu
Calamari appetizer is very good. Find their sushi to be over-priced but good as well.
Finish with their green tea ice cream cake — tastes better than it sounds.

Brad:
You can’t go wrong with their pad Thai (unless you’re a vegetarian).

Not that anyone is looking at this post anymore, but I went with the Pad Thai and the Ocean Salad today (my wife was with me, I didn’t actually have 2 entrees). Both were pretty tasty.
@RC Dallas – the green tea ice cream cake was excellent.
Asian Mint is back in my good graces. Not that anyone cared in the first place, but it made me happy….
