Sad News From Colleyville

Teresa Gubbins forwarded me the news: Chef David McMillan will close his wonderful Colleyville restaurant, 62 Main, after service tonight. Many of you were on hand earlier this year when McMillan took top honors in our 2008 Stainless Steel Chef Competition. For the last three years, 62 Main has drawn more rave reviews than customers for its innovative cuisine. Keep you seat belts fastened diners, it’s going to be a bumpy August.

    This is probably one of the first of the recent restaurant closings that has truly, truly stunned me.
