Top Chefs are All Over Aspen
ASPEN, COLORADO–I admit I have limited knowledge of cooking and reality TV shows, but there is one I do know —Top Chef. At the last seminar, I was so busy taking notes I didn’t even notice that the teeny (I swear he doesn’t weigh 100 pounds) little dude sitting next to me was chef Huang (does he have a last name?), the winner of last season’s Top Chef. I asked him if he had a message to send to his former competitors, Dallas chefs, Tre Wilcox and Casey Thompson. He said, “Yeah, tell them I say hey.” Shy “boy” he is. Maybe it’s because I told him I really wanted one of the Dallas chefs to beat him, I don’t know. Hey, if you can’t take the heat…Gotta run. But I’m going to be blogging tonight and tomorrow so stay with me here. I’m working without a net. It’s a wild, dark ride.
