Rumors Behind The Restaurant News

Hmm, the folks at World-Delicacies.com have disconnected their phone and taken down their website. The ginormous gourmet-food retail outlet near the Galleria, opened last year and was 25,000 square-feet of yumminess. (Did I really type that?) The quality was high; the prices were low. Carlos Pippa, if you’re out there, call me and let me if you are going to have a warehouse sale. Jeez, first no place to dance, now no place to get 100-year-old Balsamic vinegar. What’s next? OH, NO!

I read something about that somewhere a few weeks ago. http://tinyurl.com/6333nq

Just like the white-winged dove, the bluebird of restaurant happiness soars above all.

Darn! I’ve been wondering what that place is called because I’ve been wanting to go there and now I can’t. I’m crushed.

It would have helped had he advertised a little. I would have shopped there but have never even heard of this place. A website is nice but you need to get the word out in other ways too

I went there a couple of times and bought a few things. One of the problems was I just didn’t need 25 lbs. of pasta. There were never very many people there when I went on a Saturday afternoon. They did have food tastings that were well done. It also wasn’t a convenient location.
