Sign Up for an Intimate Look at the Dallas Farmers Market

Most Dallas chefs know about Thursday nights at the Dallas Farmers Market. That’s when a lot of the local producers bring in their crops to sell during the regular weekend hours of the market (Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM- 6PM) and they offer bulk pricing. On Thursday, June 5, the good folks over at Slow Food Dallas have teamed up with the Dallas Farmers Market Friends to host a “Moonlight Market Tour” from 8PM-10PM. I can’t think of a better way to learn all of the ins and outs of the Dallas Farmers Market. (RSVP no later than June 1, 2008 to Claudine Martyn at claudinemartyn@hotmail.com ) Also, if you aren’t a member of either Slow Foods or Farmers Market Friends, please consider becoming one. The Dallas foodie scene needs you. Plus, it’s fun and tastes good. Which is more than I can say about this, which is only fun.
