Tim Love Loves to Work

Just got a call from Tim Love, the serial restaurateur from Fort Worth. He’s got a new gig in the works and it’s one he thinks will “revolutionize the way people travel and eat.” On May 12th he plans to open Z Market in the B terminal at DFW airport. The restaurant will feature gourmet food to go and everything will be prepared on site. All of the biodegradable containers that the food is packed in is user friendly which will make it easy to pull it out in the middle seat of coach, sit it on your lap, and dine without elbowing your neighbor or spilling special sauce on your new pants. But here’s the best deal: you can e-mail your order on the way to the airport and they will deliver it, within a ten minute window, to your gate. Nice.

Nancy, I sincerly hope it succeeds, so well that down the road he might consider adding a branch at Love Field. Can’t let Chilis and McDonalds have all the action out there, now can we?

Since orders can be emailed en route, will he offer any blackberry desserts? Foodczar, you’d think Tim would be a natural for a spot at Love field.
