I recently saw something similar on “Rock of Love,” but I’m willing to bet the Dining in the Dark event, benefiting the Foundation Fighting Blindness, will be a MUCH classier evening (sorry, Bret). Dallas, Texas- February 28, 2008- The Foundation Fighting Blindness will host a unique event, Dining in the Dark on March 27, 2008 at the Fairmont Hotel, Dallas to honor T. Boone Pickens, Ebby Halliday Acers and Kern Wildenthal, M.D., Ph.D.
Dining in the Dark presents an unforgettable dining experience that allows you to explore a world of sensitivity you have never experienced before, taking you through a journey of taste, sound and touch, all in the dark. This concept was created in Germany and has been enjoyed by many people across Europe and the U.S.
The general reception will begin at 6:00 pm and dinner and awards will take place from 7:00 pm-9:30 pm.
Congressman Pete Sessions (R, TX) will serve as the Dinner Chair, and Honorees include T. Boone Pickens, Ebby Halliday and Kern Wildenthal, M.D., Ph.D.
