Girls Just Want To Have V-Day Fun

OK Dishers, these gals need some help. They write:

Where might some single and flirtatious, late-thirtyish girls go for Dinner on Thursday night? Not too mushy, nice, but not too extravagant? We want to go out because we are the types not to sit at home and feel sorry for ourselves! Love is good!  Love is fun!  But, who wants to go out to dinner and totally be surrounded by “true love”, and flowers and all that jazz? And we are straight, so I am sure that rules out some places.

They want to go out on Valentine’s Day and not be surrounded by true love? Dig deep. They’re asking a lot. (Waffle House comes to mind.)

I’d go wtih mexican food - never mushy and always fun. A margerita is a girl’s best friend, after all. My pick - Mi Cocina or Taco Diner at West Village. Is that not nice enough? Well, you get my drift.

Martini Park is giving away a 1/2 carat diamond to some lucky gal on V Day! Just don’t shoot me for mentioning it!

Last-minute suggestion: Lochrann’s Irish Pub in Frisco. Great food, great atmosphere, great live music, not mushy at all, not too pricey. Have fun, ladies, you deserve it!!!
